WTTalking Points: What Are You Thankful For This Thanksgiving?

Posted on November 28, 2019

We asked the members of the WTT Family what they were thankful for this Thanksgiving, and here’s what they had to say!

Billie Jean King

Shaun T, WTT Broadcaster/Fitness Motivator

Sloane Stephens, New York Empire

“I’m grateful for a really strong support system. My friends and family are there for me no matter where I am in the world. For me, it’s really important to surround myself with good vibes and people who are on the same page as me.”

Taylor Fritz, San Diego Aviators

“This Thanksgiving I am thankful for my family, my son, all my friends and for my health! :)”

Noah Rubin, Orange County Breakers

“It has been an incredible year of ups and downs with a last minute World Team Tennis appearance. It had an insane atmosphere mixed with pure joy all around, which created a highlight of the year for me. With the creation of ‘Behind The Racquet’ and my yearly experiences, I have learned so many lessons throughout this season that have driven me to the best mental state of my life. I am thankful for everyone who has supported me during these moments since this is not something that can be done alone. I implore everyone to take some time and appreciate everything you and your ‘team’ has done. No matter how cheesy it sounds it is imperative to show gratitude after a year of tremendous work. There is no telling what 2020 holds. Let’s go Breakers!”

Asia Muhammad, Vegas Rollers

I’m thankful I get to wake up every single morning and do what I truly love. This Thanksgiving I am very thankful to be spending it at home with my family and doggies.  I’m thankful my family is healthy and close to one another. I’m thankful for my new baby niece and being able to spend a lot of time with her this off-season. Reflecting on my year, at times it was tough but I am so lucky and grateful for the support of my family, team and friends. I am especially grateful for my good health and here’s to a great 2020. I hope everyone spends this day with their loved ones and aren’t only thankful today but everyday!
