Ohio State University triumphed at the 2018 USTA Tennis On Campus National Championships in Orlando, Fla., defeating the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill to claim its first title in school history.
The Buckeyes stepped up in the championship match, pulling away for a 27-13 victory. The school’s previous best finish at the National Championship was 18th.
National Championship team members included Gavin Aten, Michael Beatty, Natasha Birze, Paige Carmichael, Rohith Koneru, Alicia Nahhas, Lilly O‘Toole, Noah Stern, Ryan Worthen and Adrian Young.
