Three #WTTFamily members triumphed over the weekend to lift Challenger crowns.

Madison Brengle (Washington Kastles) tore through the draw at the ITF $100k event in Midland, Mich. to earn the biggest title of her career. Brengle, who dropped just 16 games over five matches, dismissed Jamie Loeb 6-1, 6-2 in Sunday’s final. The victory pushed Brengle up 10 spots to No. 78 in the latest WTA Singles Rankings. Maria Sanchez (New York Empire) was a finalist in the Midland doubles event alongside countrywoman Jessica Pegula.

In Quimper, France, brothers Ken Skupski (Orange County Breakers) and Neal Skupski (New York Empire) backed up their No. 1 seeding to win their 16th ATP Challenger title together. The Skupskis topped fourth seeds Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 for their first triumph of the season.

Team USA was propelled by a contingent of WTT veterans in its Davis Cup World Group first round tie in Serbia. John Isner (Empire) and Sam Querrey (Kastles) posted hard-fought singles victories over Laslo Djere and Dusan Lajovic on Friday, with Isner’s win coming in a decisive fifth set tiebreak. Ryan Harrison (San Diego Aviators) and Steve Johnson (Breakers) then clinched victory in Saturday’s doubles rubber with a 6-7(3), 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 win against Nikola Milojevic and Miljan Zekic.
